At LONE STAR SCHNAUZER COUNTRY, we, Jerry and Melissa Edwards, are Miniature Schnauzer Breeders of exceptional quality Champion Bloodline Miniature Schnauzers.   We strive to adhere to the Miniature Schnauzer Breed Standard, and therefore, have selected our dogs from quality, healthy, Champion Bloodlines.   Our dogs are all AKC Registered Miniature Schnauzers.  All pups are sold as Pets only (no breeding) and with Limited AKC Registration.  We do not provide ear cropping - all of our Schnauzer pups are sold with natural ears.

Deposit Policy:   A $200 deposit is required to reserve a puppy that has been born, but is not yet ready to go or one from an upcoming (unborn) litter.  If a deposit is placed on a puppy that has been born, the deposit is non-refundable or transferable.  A deposit placed on a puppy from an upcoming litter is refundable until a litter is born for which we have mutual agreement that there will be a puppy available for you.  Once that agreement has been reached, the deposit is no longer refundable.

Payment:  All DEPOSITS must be made by PayPal, Money Order, Cashier's Check, or Cash. Final payment for puppies that are picked up must be made by CASH.  Final payment for puppies that are shipped must be made by the time the puppy is 6 wks old by  PayPal, MONEY ORDER, CASHIERS CHECK.

ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE PAYABLE TO "MELISSA EDWARDS", NOT "LONE STAR SCHNAUZER COUNTRY".

Shipping/Handling and Local Pick Up:    The cost for shipping and handling is $350.  Another option is for you to fly to Houston and return your Miniature Schnauzer puppy with you in the plane's cabin.  Schnauzer puppies are small and can ride in a carrier that fits under your seat.  There is a $100 service fee for this option, which covers my expense for the trip to the airport to deliver the pup to you. We also have lots of people drive to our home to pick up their Schnauzer Puppies from other Texas cities such as Dallas, Ft. Worth, Austin, and Corpus Christi, and also from surrounding states such as Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas.

Boarding:  Our Miniature Schnauzer Puppies are ready to go to their new homes at 7-8 weeks of age.  If a puppy is kept at Lone Star past 8 weeks of age at the customer's request, boarding will be charged at the rate of $20/day.

We had a very successful year in 2011, and we expect 2012 to be just as rewarding.
